HI!! My name is Darragan. Yes, I know it is a weird name but it fits me perfectly. It is Scottish for 'Little Fiery One'.
There is some confusion in regard to my genealogical background but my dad and mom think that I'm part dachshund and part miniature pinscher while others think that I'm a dachshund/Italian greyhound mix. It doesn't really matter though, because I consider myself one of the great All-American Mutts. Yes...that's right folks, I'm a mutt and damn proud of it too. It makes me unique looking (some might say beautiful) and I'm not prone to any of those wonky "pure" breed health issues. Sorry Fiona, but you know it is true.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Just because I have a skin allergy, like most other Westies, you don't have to rub it in.
ReplyDeleteHELLO!! My name is Fiona. I didn't pick the name, my first mommy did. She really liked the name for some reason. All of my cousins call me Princess Fiona, which I really like. It makes me feel special and makes my tail wag.
As I mentioned before I am on official West Highland Terrier and have the papers to prove it...somewhere. My first mommy wasn't very good at filing. I was adopted as a puppy and lived the life of luxury that my lineage provides. I had 5 great years with her but then she got sick. She loved me so much that she did everything possible to m ake sure that I was comfortable and felt loved at all times. Unfortunately this led to a slight weight gain, but I'm taking care of that now.
As my first mommy got sicker her family realized that she couldn't take care of me anymore and my current mom and dad took me in. I thought I was going to be the ONLY dog in the family, but the upstart mutt was already here. Even though technically she is beneath me we get along really well. I actually get along with all dogs.
