Good afternoon everyone!! Just wanted to report back in that both Fiona and I have found new homes. Fiona left to join her new family last Friday and I went to my new place yesterday. I miss my old family but I now have a pool!! How cool is that!?! Too bad I'm afraid of getting wet. Oh well.
Fiona and I wanted to thank everyone for joining in the effort of finding us new homes. We really appreciate every bit of it.
Love to all

I HAVE A NEW HOME
Yes that I right! I have a new family. They already have a Westie so I will feel right at home. I move in with them on Friday. I can't wait.
Darragan hasn't found a new home yet, so that means we have to work doubly hard to get her into her new forever home. PLEASE HELP US!!
Thank you--Love Princess Fiona

It's Sunday
I heard dad and mom talking this morning about making sure our new parents have all of the information that they need. They want to make sure that our new parents won't have to worry about getting our shots and stuff.
I'm very happy that mom got us the 3-year rabies shot because even though I am not scared to go to the vet, I would SOOOO rather be any place else.

The Next Step
Like I said earlier we are looking for new, loving forever homes. Our family is doing a lot on their side and this blog is our way of helping as well.
If you interested in adopting a dog please think of us. Or, if you know someone that is thinking of adopting a dog, please forward our blog on to them. We would love to talk to anyone interested!! Maybe you or your cousin or your high school friend or your dentist will be the forever parent(s) that we are looking for.

Let Me Introduce Myself
HI!! My name is Darragan. Yes, I know it is a weird name but it fits me perfectly. It is Scottish for 'Little Fiery One'.
There is some confusion in regard to my genealogical background but my dad and mom think that I'm part dachshund and part miniature pinscher while others think that I'm a dachshund/Italian greyhound mix. It doesn't really matter though, because I consider myself one of the great All-American Mutts. Yes...that's right folks, I'm a mutt and damn proud of it too. It makes me unique looking (some might say beautiful) and I'm not prone to any of those wonky "pure" breed health issues. Sorry Fiona, but you know it is true.

How Things Began
The other day dad and mom came home from an appointment with the allergist. They were both very sad. They snuggled up with us and said that our sister's doctor said that the reason she has been sick was because that she is severely allergic to us and that the stinky medicine she has been taking was not working. They said that they thought long and hard about what to do and decided the best for everyone would be to find us new homes.
Even though we are not happy about the turn of events in our lives, both Fiona and I have decided to take matters into our own paws and find our new forever homes ourselves. We are both smart, creative dogs so we decided to create our own blog to get the word out that we both need new homes.
